Ever wondered what it's like to breathe underwater but not quite sure whether scuba diving is right for you? If so then the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is for you!
While not an actual scuba certification, the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is the perfect opportunity to learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time. It takes a little getting used to - after all, we humans aren't designed to breathe underwater - but after little more than just a few minutes, most participants come to realise just how easy scuba diving really is. The biggest challenge instructors have with the Discover Scuba Diving program is not coaxing participants into the water, but coaxing them out when the program is over! The fun part? It's all fun!
You learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. One thing you?ll learn is that you really can breathe underwater and whether you like doing that or not. You will:
Get the Knowledge - Want to get all the facts on scuba diving? Is diving safe? Is learning to dive difficult? Your instructor will help you to get the answer to all these questions and more!
Scuba Equipment - Confused by all that complicated looking equipment? Learn all about scuba equipment - we'll show you how it works and how to use it underwater!
Breathe Underwater - Discover what it's like to breathe underwater and whether it's really for you!
Start Your Adventure! - Take your first steps towards a full scuba certification by learning some basic diving skills!
