Our Lakeside Summer Party is less than a month away and frankly we couldn't be more excited! On top of a stellar line up of musical talent and a host of fun activities (not to mention the lakeside bar), we're very pleased to announce another awesome addition to the party lineup - one of the world's leading freediving educators has agreed to run a series of workshops at our Summer party. And the best news? Participation is free!
Emma will be running two FREE workshops at our Summer party on Saturday 1st August. One aimed at divers at 04:00pm and a second aimed at swimmers at 05:00pm. Spaces at both are limited to twelve persons - see the red box opposite.
LOVE TO SWIM? For swimmers, Emma will be running a breathing optimisation workshop specifically tailored to you. The Breathing Optimisation workshop for swimmers will introduce practical techniques to improve breathing efficiency, relaxation, and performance in the water. Participants will learn how to develop better breathing patterns, reduce unnecessary tension, and create a more effective connection between breath and movement.
Swimmers can benefit from improved breathing control, allowing them to swim more efficiently, stay relaxed, and develop greater awareness of how their breath affects their performance. The techniques can help swimmers feel more comfortable in the water and make each stroke more effective.
LOVE TO DIVE? Scuba divers can benefit from Emma's amazing breathing optimisation techniques too. The Breathing Optimisation workshop for scuba divers will explore how better breathing habits can improve air consumption, relaxation, and comfort underwater.
Divers will learn techniques to reduce inefficient breathing patterns, stay calmer during dives, and get more enjoyment from their time underwater. Optimising breathing can help reduce unnecessary air consumption, extending dive time. You'll discover how relaxation and breathing control can improve buoyancy, reduce stress, and create a calmer, safer, and more enjoyable underwater experience.
Party goers do not need any previous experience with breathing techniques. Both workshops are 'dry' so no need to get in the water again - simply register by email or join the sessions on the day and take part in practical exercises designed for swimmers and scuba divers alike. The workshops are suitable for anyone looking to improve their relationship with breathing and become more efficient in the water.
