With our final night dive of 2025 falling on Thursday 30th October, it seemed only appropriate that we celebrate the changing of the season with a little bit of spooky Halloween fun!
Scary pumpkins and all manner of other Halloween silliness will be making an appearance so join us for a very special - and spooktacular - evening of night diving fun. This will be our final night dive of 2025 so why not make a night of it?
To get you all in the 'spirit', we encourage all divers to dress up in their scariest Halloween attire. Whether you're a ghoul or a ghost, a witch or a werewolf, all demonic diving denizens are welcome. We'll be handing out prizes to the best dressed and running a very special 'Graveyard Games' trail in the lake with even more prizes to be won. We'll also be firing up our wonderful 'Heatwave' fire pit in the far corner of the car park for visitors to kick back and enjoy the spooky vibes.
With an out of the water time of 22:00, there will be plenty of time to finish the day job and then head to Vobster Quay for a spooky night dive or two! Food and gas will be
available until 21:00 - sorry we can't do cheeky fills or burgers after that. Once your evening is complete, you'll need to be paid up and offsite no later than 22:30.
Booking for this Halloween-themed night dive will open on the 2nd October. This event is open to all divers including dive schools, clubs, members and non-members alike!
MEET THE 'VOBSTER LOBSTERS'
A night dive at Vobster Quay brings one awesome benefit - the opportunity to catch a glimpse of our famous white-clawed crayfish!
In previous years, divers have reported seeing tens of crayfish on many of their dives - some encounters as close as the plane and tunnel. If you're keen to experience a conservation success story, this is your opportunity to discover this vulnerable species for yourself. Visit the
white-clawed crayfish page to discover more about these precious residents of Vobster Quay.
