Ho Ho Ho! We're delighted to announce that Vobster Santas is back for another bumper bag of festive diving fun! To start your festive season in style, we'll be hosting a very special yuletide dive session open to all - members and non-members alike. Grab your fluffy beards, folks - things are gonna get jolly!
Vobster Santas is all about getting together for some festive diving fun and - of course - raising some serious cash for charity! For our 2026 event, we're aiming to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and Help for Heroes by encouraging each and every one of you to get sponsored. Both charities are very close to our hearts here at Vobster Quay so let's show them both just how much we value everything they do!
Once again we’re aiming to get as many sponsored Santa divers hitting the water at 10:00am in one very jolly - and very silly - group! Gates will open at 8:00am followed by a dive brief at 09:30am so there will be plenty of time to get parked up, kitted up and ready to hit the water! Will we beat our record of 185 Santa divers all in the water at once? With your help, we know we can!

Since our very first Santa diving event back in 2007, you've helped us to raise a sack-load of cash for charity. For our 2025 event, we chose to support two causes very close to our heart - the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and the Armed Forces charity Help For Heroes. Thanks to your amazing efforts, we raised another £3000 for these charities!
OUR 2026 CHARITIES
GET YOURSELF SPONSORED!
Vobster Santas is all about having fun but it's important to remember why we're doing it - to raise bags of cash for charity! For our 2026 event, we'll be supporting the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and Help for Heroes charities.
We actively encourage each and every participant to get themselves sponsored for this worthy event. Through JustGiving donations, divers can invite their friends, family and work colleagues to sponsor them to take to the balmy waters of Vobster Quay dressed in their finest festive gear. We've created a poster that you can download (below) and print off to help you promote your involvement and hopefully drum up some donations!
Since the events’ inception, Vobster’s Santa divers have helped to raise over £58,000 for these very worthy charities. Let's get that total even higher!
All proceeds from JustGiving and collections to the RNLI and Help For Heroes (H4H). All proceeds of raffle to be divided equally between the RNLI and Help For Heroes. The RNLI is a charity registered in England and Wales (209603) and Scotland (SC037736). H4H is a charity registered in England and Wales (1120920) and Scotland (SC044984).
THE ROYAL NATIONAL LIFEBOAT INSTITUTION
A charity close to every scuba diver's heart, RNLI lifeboats protect hundreds of communities around the UK and Ireland through their 24-hour search and rescue service. RNLI crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,700 lives since 1824 but they’re more than just a rescue service.

Ready to dig out your Santa outfit and get involved in the biggest and best Santa diving event this side of Lapland? Here's our step-by step guide to help you secure your place...
Fancy an early Christmas present? We've pleased to announce that Vobster Santas 2026 is open to ALL DIVERS - members and non-members alike. All we ask is that you follow these simple instructions to get yourself registered on our event 'naughty and nice' list and booked in for the big day...
- Start by REGISTERING YOURSELF on our event registration list using the form opposite. Ensure that you provide a valid email address as the address you supply will be used to send you further instructions.
- IMPORTANT! You should receive an email containing a unique BOOKING LINK shortly after registering. Please note that it may take up to 60 minutes for this email to come through. Follow this link by clicking on the big red button and you will be taken to our booking system. Note that you cannot book in for Vobster Santas without this unique link!
- If you are a NON-MEMBER who has not registered with us before, click on the REGISTER button under 'New Visitor' and follow the onscreen instructions. Complete the onscreen forms and declarations to get yourself set up on our system. Once complete, you will be automatically booked into the Vobster Santas diving session.
- If you are a MEMBER or you have registered with us before, log in and you will be booked into the Vobster Santas diving session automatically. Members can only book themselves onto this session through this unique link.
- If you have followed these instructions correctly, the session will now be listed under YOUR SESSION BOOKINGS. You should also receive an email from us confirming your booking.

Not able to make it?
If you sign up for this year's Vobster Santas event and later find yourself unable to attend, please remember to log back in at app.vobster.com and CANCEL your booking. Spaces are limited so please give others the opportunity to attend in your place. Cancelling costs nothing and will surely earn you a place at the top of Santa's 'nice' list.

We're pleased to announce that our ever-popular Vobster Santas prize draw raffle is back! Once again we'll be raffling off a bumper selection of amazing prizes donated by some of the biggest names in diving!
Tickets cost just £1 and will be available to buy through the Vobster shop with the draw itself taking place on the Sunday 13th December at Vobster Santas. All proceeds will be donated to the two very worthy charities that we're supporting this year - the RNLI and Help For Heroes. So spread a little festive cheer and buy a sack-full of tickets!
We'd like to extend a very special thank you to each and every one of our prize donors - you guys rock!
Don't forget! The more tickets you buy, the more chances you've got of bagging an amazing prize so keep those fingers crossed that you're a winner. Full details of the prizes on offer will be revealed very soon so watch this space!
