Want to dive at Vobster Quay but not a member? From Sunday 2nd April 2023, we're pleased to announce that non-members will be able to prebook a diving session at Vobster on a Sunday afternoon between 14:00 - 20:00.

Times are hard for everyone and we appreciate that every penny counts during this challenging period. Like every UK business, the cost of running Vobster Quay has increased significantly over the last 12 months but we're committed to reducing the impact on our visitors.

As we enter a new year packed with the promise of good things to come, it's time to plan your year ahead! We're pleased to announce that our opening hours for Spring, Summer and Autumn 2023 are now online covering open water swimming, scuba diving and - of course - the welcome return of paddle sports in April.

Vobster Quay became a chortling sea of fluffy beards and ill-fitting Santa suits on Sunday 11th December as almost 100 hardy scuba divers braved the snow and ice to take part in a mass sponsored scuba dive in aid of the RNLI and the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. Ho Ho Ho! The biggest and best Scuba Santa diving event is back for another festive helping of charity fundraising and belly laughs! Once again we'll be strapping on our fluffy white beards and squeezing into poorly-fitting Santa suits to hit the water en masse in an effort to raise money for two very deserving charities!

Our famous Glow Swim event brings together open water swimmers for an amazing moon-lit sensory night swimming experience like no other and this year's event on Friday 7th October did not disappoint! Our video geek was there to capture the fun - grab a coffee and watch it now!

As Summer heads off over the horizon and Autumn elbows in to take its place, we look forward to the unique diving opportunities that October brings. During the month of October, we'll be offering scuba divers not one, not two but THREE awesome opportunities to enjoy the very last extended Thursday night diving sessions of the year.

Like many of you, we are deeply saddened by the passing our beloved monarch. As a mark of respect for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Vobster Quay will be closed on Monday 19th September to allow our staff and visitors to mark their respects on the day of her funeral.
